We believe a key part of sustainability is being much more resourceful in re-using existing buildings, extending their lives and making them fit for modern lifestyles and expectations.

We have always enjoyed the richness of working with existing buildings and as the need for sustainability becomes more pressing, our refurbishment, restoration and adaptation skills are increasingly valuable. Our team is very experienced at the sensitive process of identifying and keeping the best of existing buildings but making improvements and alterations to give them a sustainable and relevant future. This often involves removing some of the errors of the past, improving their performance and sympathetically introducing new elements.
