The core of what we provide is Architecture & Turnkey Design, we like to be involved from the very start to when the completed project is ‘handed over’ to our client, however we are also asked to get involved at any stage of this process.

Typically we start with initial sketches & assessment of property, pre planning, sketch design and layouts with client reviews, planning & listed building consent, detailed design, tender, contractor selection, on site construction through to a fully completed project to then be handed back to the client.

Support Services for Interior Designers

• TFF Architects have worked on many projects where a client’s interior designer takes the design lead.
• We support the interior designer with our skill and expertise dealing with all the technical and regulatory aspects to help achieve their design and vision.
• We provide architectural/building design as well as a project management role if required.
• At an early stage of the project we advise on planning & listed building constraints, building regulation and building safety requirements, structural and party wall aspects so that the client and interior designer are confident these aspects have been carefully considered. We take care of all the necessary submissions and consents.
• We develop a full package of technical information and drawings, based on the interior designer’s concepts and sketches. Our drawings are co-ordinated with the structural changes/design and building services installation requirements.
• Typically the design and project is tendered to a selection of suitable and trusted contractors to provide the client with a fixed price for the work. We oversee this process and the appointment of the contractor. We continue to work with the contractor providing necessary detailed drawings and information, overseeing regular site meetings through to completion of the project.
• The final stages involve dealing with the snagging and final sign off of certificates etc as well as helping co-ordinate with the interior designer for delivery and installation of furniture, furnishings and artwork etc ready for the client to move into their new home.
• All of our services can be tailored to suit the client, project and role of the interior designer.
• We are always happy to meet with the interior designer, but also with the client if preferred, to have an initial discussion and review of the project, where we can help establish next steps and discuss how best TFF Architects can support the project and the interior designer’s role.
